Bacon Tater Pops

Tater tots are great for snacks and I enjoy them with or without dipping sauce. I make my tater tots extra special when I have guests over. I wrap the spuds in bacon and cheese! Such a perfect taste combo! It’s so easy to prepare and I now consider it one of my favorite appetizers. I even put them on my cheese board.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 kilo - Frozen Tater Tots
- 125 g - Cheddar Cheese (thinly sliced)
- 4 strips - Bacon (lightly fried)
- Green Onions (garnish)
Procedure:
- Initially cook the tater tots for about 3 minutes at 225c/400f.
- Once done, slice the fried bacon and wrap the tater tots with it.
- You may then put the cheese on top of the tater tots. You also have the option of wrapping it around the tater tots, before the bacon.
- Use a toothpick to keep them in place.
- Cook in the air fryer for another 2 minutes.
- Be careful not to overcook. Take out the toothpicks.
- Garnish with some green onions and cheese cubes.
- Serve hot. No dipping sauce needed!
